So... Immortal is officially out as of today... and yet, no updates from Rogue anywhere...

Also, my iPod is frustrating me. I went through and added a bunch of CD art I was missing, and it all looks fine in iTunes. But when I unhook my iPod and look at the screen, there's just a black square where the art should be. I tried deleting it and adding a different jpeg, but it's still just a black square. Anyone else ever have that problem? I think it's because someone unplugged my iPod before I ejected it (after I had added the new art).

So, onto life after AnthroCon...
The Dethklok show fell on the day after I returned to Atlanta. Patrick, Jeff, Ian, and I piled into the car and got out to The Tabernacle, only to realize that it had sold out. Ian and I had preordered tickets, so... yeah.... we had a problem. Patrick and Jeff told us to go without them, so we did, while they went over to Centennial Olympic Park. The bands before Dethklok, Chimera and Soilent Green, were pretty boring... metal isn't exactly my thing. Though Chimera wasn't bad. I'm sure a lot of people there enjoyed it. Anyway, the show was the same one from December... nothing from Season 2 was in the setlist, sadly. But I didn't mind too much. I wanted to see it again, and I still sang along and everything anyway. Maybe next summer it will be better.

On the 4th of July, Ian, Patrick, and Alex came out and we spent the day tooling around. Some of the day was spent at Alex's watching cartoons and playing with Sambuca. (I love that dog!) Later, we snagged a bunch of food and stuff from The Artisan's party on the pool deck, and night time finally rolled around. We all headed out to the roof of the parking area and sat on Jeff and Alex's car, watching the fireworks that were being shot off from the square. It was a beautiful show... deafening (since we were closer to the explosions than the people on the ground) but beautiful.

After that, it's just been work and hanging out... I have a lot to do today, though, so I'm going to drag myself away from the internets. But before I go, I should mention that I got Ian an interview with AHS tomorrow afternoon... I really hope he gets the tech job. It would be pretty sweet to work together. Plus, I know he could use the money. I'll bet he'll spend all of his first paycheck on clothes... I would have given the job to Patrick, since I know he wanted it, but since he doesn't have a car... I don't think Dianne would have hired him anyway.
